I blame the youth of today, dam those whipper snappers.  :furious

Blaming those "whipper snappers" is blaming the "symptom"...the blame should be directed to the cause which is, in MY opinion, the parents of the "whipper snappers"..IMNSHO.  :D

Daddog and Dan, I think both of you have pretty much hit the nail on the head.
I guess aging is for old people.  :aok

Perhaps "aging is for old people"..however, never forget "we're all just kids in grown-up bodies"...oh, one other note of interest" "youth is wasted on the young"  :)

I think the main reason we see this going on is the Flight sims community has lost it's way. Back in the day, in FR AW & WB  the community largely lived for the next scenario. The MA was just a place to kill time till the next historcal event, the game was more about the history of air combat and the next scenario's. We talked some smack back then, but in a nicer way.  :P Because that guy maybe your wingman in the upcoming scenario. In AW I never played any other sides besides B land, but most of my friends was Az or Cz, because of the events community.

Here in AH we have lost that..... the game has become about the Main arenas. Not about the historical events.

this is a fallacy for the most part.   they used to say "The arenas are just practice for scenarios."  it was just as meaningless then as it is now.

it sounds good, tho'.   :aok

I agree that there is less interest in scenarios in AH than there was in Warbirds in the late '90s.  I've met some people in AH who don't even like scenarios or FSO and say it's boring! :huh

That said, I remember a lot of flaming at agw, but it's another degree hotter here. :devil
