Ditching on the field should  be counted as a landed mission . In real life ditching on a concrete runway was a serious fire hazard. You should want to put your plane down on the grass. Also if you roll<crash> your plane and its on the run way its a landed mission? Very strange. Any landing you can walk away from is a good one.Thats the motto that should be used here. Am i the only one whos sick of nurseing a plane back and just missing the runway and a landed mission? Even though it was some nice flying just to get home.

I agree its too easy to ditch here read your post your right. That said a field ditch in this game is a crash landing. On both counts this game needs to be changed.

Ditching is absolutely too easy.  Two examples:

1. B26 strafes M16. B26 loses both wings and tail but gets ditch. Seen this at least 6 times in the last week.

2. Low level furball in spit. Drag wing on ground while watching behind. Grind to a halt on the ground w/ditch.
