I had a blast - excellent job again Delta and to everyone who participated.  Seemed like the fighters had a little more discipline about engaging bandits and staying high with the bombers. 

I winged up with DakOne in the '51's and even though my mic was out we still managed to fly very well together.

Had fun keeping the fighters off of the bombers, Dak & I downed a 190.  My fuel dropped to bingo slightly before the bomb group reached target, so I diverted to 139 - during my descent I encountered a lone 109 that I quickly dispatched.

I think these events will only get better, looking forward to the next one!

Very glad to hear of your transfer.  Could certainly use
some more good sticks and squadrons to help us out.
And excellent AAR sir. Thank you for taking to time to post it! 
And thanks for the screencap!  I collect all the MoM screenies
I can get so I can use them for promo materials down the line.

Planning has already begun on MoM3 but I doubt we will be
running it in December.  The schedule we have been
running on would put the next one smack dab in the middle
of the Christmas holidays which is less then ideal so we will
be pushing it to January.

 David, 96Delta, This was my first time with the Rooks and the MOM's mission and I totally enjoyed it to the most! Thanks for your hard work in planning such a large mission. I was with the 79th Fighter Group under Col GGHOST flying the P-47 at 31,000 over the bombers and was able to take out 1-109 and 1-190 with 1 ass. Each enemy was trying very hard to pull me down to a lower alt. without susses. Each time I would get about 2 thousand feet below the bombers I would break off and climb back to my assigned alt. and press on to the target area. Sorry to say but my last combat fight with a 190 I ended up going straight in without any responce from my controll stick.  I just wanted to thank you for the chance to be a part of the MOM's and to fly with such professionals of the game. Popason, of the 79th Fighter Group. I salute you and your commanders  ps: I would like the chance to fly the MOM's 3 mission

Thanks again for all the comments and encouragement guys.
It really means alot to me  that people enjoy these MoM
events.  I'm hoping that it will add something new to the
Titanic Tuesday wash-rinse-repeat cycle.

I need to emphasize that I have no idea of how well
received these things are if people do not join the
posted missions.  I am tracking the participation
in MoM by the number of pilots who join them through
the mission editor.

So far we are tracking even with last time but I
am hoping to see the numbers grow as we continue
the MoM  campaign.



So please join the posted missions if you can.
I know that means no preferred skin (I really wish that
HiTech would change the Mission Editor to allow it).
Still, the number of 'joiners' is all I have to gauge
the relative health of the thing.  So please help me by
joining the posted missions.

Its good to hear the success of the MoM#2! Unfortunately I had to work late Tuesday night... I hope that I am able to participate the next time around!  96Delta for all your hard work and effort you put into this!
