I've never engaged in the act of 'sitting coffee'. I think it's dirty.

I agree totally - need historical terrains in historical scenarios.

Let me try to explain how much work goes into a "historical" terrain.

Many hours of research are done before you  even start the editor, if you don't do this first you will either be forced to do many revisions or have an incorrect map.

Building custom fields/ship groups to match the research you've done.

Creating custom textures to give the terrain its own look instead of the DDSOS syndrome.

Creating clipboard maps to use during the editing process and the final game version.

<I make at least two versions, 1 for field/target placement - 1 final game version>

The actual editing process and bug testing.

I haven't kept an accurate record of the time I've spent on the Philippines, I guesstimate at least 100 hours due to the above reasons and screw-ups I've made learning the editor and working with the many revisions HTC has released.

Its not easy guys!

Who ever said it was Jihad?

But for months we've seen screenshots of terrains, made by Nuttz yourself and others. I was under the impression that at least some of them were finished?

Maybe we ask too much, but why should that be left to the LuftWobbles?

If historical terrains don't come up here they will come up some place else.  Back to my coffee.
