air war died with the prop.

In no way did air warfare die with the prop,  but it did change a whole lot.

i'm intrigued by the EF-111A kill - did he fry the Mirages electronics?
It was a maneuvering kill. The raven was actually able to MAKE the Mirage enter a situation where it could not pull up out of a dive. It was completely intentional, and not the first incident of a fighter getting an air-to-air victory in such a way.

I bet he's mighty proud of the kill mark on his plane. :aok

I did that to a P-38L while flying a C-47 in AH many years ago.  Quite intentionally killed him.  Said to myself "If I pull down and around like this, I bet he noses down hard to try to get me and if he does that, he'll hit that hill."  And he did.

3 Royal navy sea harriers scored gun kills against Douglas sky hawks over the Falkland isles as well as at least 1 Mirage.

While it would be nice to have a sim as simple to operate and as well-modeled as AHII, except for the fact you have jets to play with,  I don't foresee this happening really ever. Although, going after a MiG-29 in an F4E while avoiding a Meteor Mk.VIII might be kinda fun.....
