I would like to be able to zoom the map some where other than my current location. Maybe the ability to "drag a selection" and the map zoom to that selection. It would be very helpful when trying to control the Carrier Groups while in flight or get a better location on an enemy "blip".
And the quick question is: "How accurate are the field locations in the map?" When you click on a field on the map for ranging and direction information for the artillery on the Battleship, how accurate is the information? I rarely seem to get any destroyed messages while trying to bombard shoreline fields.
