I am not a big wrestling fan but I would like to send a BIG

out to the WWE for coming to doing their annual "Tribute to the Troops". We live on a small FOB (Forward Operating Base) but six members of WWE came to visit us. In my time here we have had a couple USO tours come through here, mostly comedians but the big name people generally stayed to the major camps/LSAs (Logistical Support Area). We were suprised to learn that Vince McManhon (SP?), Rey Masterio (SP?), R. Truth, Kel Kelley, Eve, and John Cena were coming to see us. They spent a good three hours here visiting with the troops and singing autographs. As we were headed out on patrol, they were there to send us off. No matter what anyone thinks of wrestling as a whole, I have to say I have come to respect the WWE as an organization for their support of the troops. They put on one heck of a good show for us, if you would like to see, it will air on 20 Dec 08.
Just as a side note it was a pretty warm day, somewhere in the 70's when they filmed the match.
