Help
« on: December 07, 2008, 02:20:33 AM »
Let me start by saying I have searched and I can't find the answer to this. If it has been addressed I apologize ahead of time. I am trying to install a sound pack. As i understand it all I have to do is go into the htc/ah2 folder and replace the sounds folder. The problem is, there isn't a sounds folder. All that shows up (for folders) are; ahiiterr, maps, offmiss, sights and stickdef. There are files, including one called sounds.res. I have no idea what to do. I am running Vista. I was thinking that maybe the other folders were hidden or something. I would really appreciate any help anyone might have. I have a feeling this is prob something I should know but don't. Thanks..

name your folder "Sounds"

if there's another one, overwrite it.
No one knows what the future may bring.

Vista does apparently hide some folders.   Check out this tech support topic - it has some workarounds dealing with where Vista stores folders.    Maybe that's what happened to your sounds folder.
