I am red-green colorblind like 10% of males, so it is sometimes hard to see the red enemy icons against the terrain.

I would love to see some controls to set the RGB values for friendly and enemy icons, like in WB.

Agree. No one should have a (dis)advantage because of icon colors.

(Does WB actually have RGB controls for icons now? I begged for this for months, but never got a reply from iEN.)

No Popeye is right - there is a color intensity control for the icons but not RGB.

WB has RGB sliders for tracer colors.

I want these here for icons.

I want the tracer colors to be... whatever the heck they were in WW2.

I'm with you - actually posted something about this a couple fo weeks ago!

So I am stuck to using vehicles or flying bombers for now (OK, my fighter tactics suck, anyway). That is if I really want to see the target.

But really, I just cannot spot the red against green/brown background. Deep Blue would be good - black wood be good, but not red. The red enemy icon actually seems to make it more difficult to spot the actual plane/vehicle.

Being able to change icon colour is in my opinion no disadvantage to anyone else, is it?

Just had a squaddie try AH and give up on it, because he couldn't see the red icons.

The only objection to adjustable icon colors is that it might confuse newbies. My answer is that by the time a newbie figures out HOW to change the default colors, he will know who to shoot at.

Isnt there a law in the US about support for the disabled?

Im hue blind, and its a REAL pain in the bellybutton to see a red icon on a green background (especially that dark green one.. icon dissapears, plane dissapears. Only p38's, white jugs and italian kites I can see in that background, the rest just vanish).

the RGB icon selector and transparency slider are DIRELY needed in AH. I think its very unfair to have color blind/hue blind pilots be at such extreme disadvantage.

Please HT, for the sake of our corneas.. implement this

RED ? it's a color ... never seen
