need help

i bought a game called homeworld 2. the white label version. so, i installed it and went to run the it but it says wrong disc every time. i do have the disc in though. any idea what may be wrong?

I'd suggest uninstalling and reinstalling it if you haven't already. Plus, is its a CDRom or DVDRom?

When it does it, have you tried opening the drive and closing it again before you close the message window or click try again? maybe its not reading the drive properly the first time.

Either way, I'd still suggest you reinstall it, since that sounds like an error in its installation to me.

What does it say when you try to start it without the disk at all?

Im betting it is looking for the cd in the "d" drive.... and your cd rom drive is e or higher
