The carrier group sseem to be of the anti-submarine, aka "Hunter", type compositions used during the early part of the war in the Atalantic to fight off the U-Boats.

The Carrier decks are extremely small.

Any chance in furture versions of getting Yorktown and Hiro class CVs.

"Our" decks are big enough to land with B-17/Lanc/Ju-88 and with small load they can take off too.
What kind of plane needs larger deck?

Don't for the DC-3, er, C47 that we occasionally park on the deck and take deep into enemy territory.

If I remember correct Axe was first that I saw doing that.
Later I spent 30-40 mins sitting in a deck with C-47 waiting fighters to clear base we attacked

Are you saying that the CV-9 Essex class carrier we have now in AH is smaller than the CV-5 Yorktown class?

What is a Hiro-class CV?

If you talk about the Hiyo, it was a CVL, that is a LIGHT fleet carrier, converted from a merchant, completely underarmored and capable of making 24 knots at its best.

I doubt that HTC will take the time to model such a crappy ship

Yes sorry, I ment hiyo type CVs - no arguement about the crappy ship.

The issue is not wether one can land a B-17 on a CV.

Just like there are different models of aircraft in this game with different capabilities.

I was wondering if the different CV models would be worth doing.

I forget the CV class names - believe Enterprise was one.

Certainly new AC models should take higher priority - after all this is a AC sim - not a boat sim.
