I took 2 semesters of Aerodynamics at Embry-Riddle while stationed at Seymour-Johnson AFB ..
..my instructor was the Major who gave check-rides in the B-52's there.
He was very sharp

Enjoyed the *heck* out of the classes.
As for how you get 'in' to college .. standard ops is to do the basics at any community college.
English and Math are the two big ones ..then they gonna need 'filler' classes ..I took History and Child Psych.
You can get a list of what you need from the College you plan to take your Major at.
Do as much as you can at the community college level. It's easier.
Then go balls out on yer Major once you get into the College you want.
Thing about doin all the 'pre-req's' is .. they are universal.
They apply to any degree.
I got my 2nd Associate degree by takin 3-4 semesters of the Major because I had alla pre-req's already.
First degree was in Avionics thru the USAF .. 2nd was in Science/Electronics thru community college

Third was gonna be CAD Engineering but .. got hired by Kesmai ..LOL.
Luck isn't a factor .. you gotta fill all the squares.
Jam on dood.
