My mother- in-law
« on: December 13, 2008, 08:54:41 PM »
As some of you might remember, I just recently got married (do a search with username Panzzer on the o'club if you're interested, it was in August). However, now my mother-in-law is going through some rough times, after having gone through cancer in her reproducive organs some 15-20 years ago, now after I've married her daughter she's having some rough times again, one of her kidneys stopped working, she's having a surgery on Wednesday.. So let's cheer her up:

Kidney surgery is a bit bad, however I know folks that only have one, and are just fine.
Good luck!

(BTW, surgery technique changes to the better every year, so my words may be obsolete)

Thank you all. After over 6 hours in the OR, I am glad to say that the operation was succesful and she should wake up tomorrow with 2 working kidneys, plus we get to see her tomorrow.
