I'm thinking:

G.) Tiger announces that Steve Williams was bitten by a scorpion and Stang's his new caddy.

I dislike him for his unsportsmanlike temper-tantrums on the field when he doesn't get what he's after (occasional, yet still happens). Therefore I'd rather not see him back on the field.

I totally agree with this one. In the old days of golf tantrums like his were subject to fines and frowned upon. But now because he's a money maker for golf  everybody wants to jump on his banwagon. I personally don't care for anything about him. A little more humility is what he needs. I caddied for my father in law at the Bob Hope Classic and I can say from first hand experience......... most pro golfers are pompus stunninghunks. I did meet Bob Estes, he was a nice guy. His dad was in the gallery following him around the course. I spoke to him and congratulated him on how well mannered his son was and how he was very approachable and humble. His father said if he ever seen his son doing anything on the course disrespectable he would walk over to him and set him straight. Now that's what golf really needs is approachable nice guys, not the overpaid cry baby who throws clubs and has meltdowns when his game is not going his way.

A) Who cares?
B) Who cares?
C) Who cares?
D) Who cares?
E) Who cares?
F) Who cares?

Mind you, I love golf. But I couldnt care less what happens to Tiger or anyone else. And all you see is a public persona. For all you know the guy might dress like a woman and swish down an aisle at home. "The game" is whats to love and admire.

The whole point was and is that where Tiger goes so goes the game of golf (today). Everyone is awaiting his return and while I might believe what you say about Daly I would never believe that of Tiger. Tiger suffers from absolutely no mental weaknesses and his tactic of venting his anger immediately has a positive affect on his game. He mentally programs himself by watching his performance in review by only watching the great shots (thus forgetting the bad). That kind of attitude is only seen in winners.

What you think the game of golf will end if Tiger leaves it? Or drops dead on his crapper after pulling an Elvis?

Personally I like the seniors tour. Those guys have class and dont have little millionaire temper tantrums like so many of todays spoiled little sports sweetheartbags have. You can make all the excuses you want but if a golfer has a hissy fit on the links then he's a sweetheart. Man Ive never allowed my kid to make role models out of these guys.

The game is about class. Golf is about class. You lose that then you lose golf.

I once again agree.... In my opinion I think Tiger has done the game a disservice. It doesn't matter if he's in 6th place he still gets more camera time than the leader.  For being so called able to come back almost at will he sure sucks at Rider cup play. I don't care if he does one day pass Jack Nicholas's majors record. In my book he will never be an Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicholas or Lee Treveno. Those guys were fun to watch and you never and I mean never seen them be anything by gentlemen on and off the golf course. My Dad lived in Palm Springs and played with Trevino from time to time, said he was a great REGULAR guy with no bagage. I  :pray Tiger moves on . I stopped watching golf because of him.

I think you guys are reading too much into a few colorful moments. I have met a lot of golf players (pros if you will) young and old and they all seem to be the nicer sort of people and real class acts. Golf is about how you take your lumps to me. Tiger takes it out on his equipment and moves on. You never had a mic on any pros throughout a match during the age of Nicholas or Palmer. Golf coverage today is much better due to technology advancements and the presence of Tiger Woods. Tiger brought golf to the masses and so golf is no longer so much an exclusive sport and if you despise him for that okay but looking at him and judging him for (I dont care how frequent) his antics as being low class is contrary to the same measure you hold him to. I wish you could have been there during the Hogan years... you would change your tune real quick!

If you dont watch events with Tiger present you missed the greatest sporting event in history last U.S. Open (my opinion).

yup.......your opinion. Please don't lump that lump in with Arnold and Jack. Neither would have left Fuzzy swingin in the breeze like Tiger did. Oh yah, taking your disappointment with your play in full view of TV and the world to me is poor sportsmanship plain and simple.

I have to agree that the exposure Tiger endures is something the legends of golf never had to contend with.  EVERY hole the man plays is televised.  I just don't get this idea that he is so ill-behaved.  Have any of you ever watched an NBA game in your lives?  How about MLB, or the NFL? Talk about your spoiled cry baby athletes.

I have never met Tiger, but just like some people say they have heard stories about so and so it is all relative.  I know people who have run into Tiger when he has been fishing here on the Green River and said he is about as nice of a guy as you could ever meet.  I have also heard horror stories about golfers like Lee Travino and what a jerk he is to volunteers at golf tournaments.  So I guess it is all relative.  The fact is, Tiger has done more for the game than anyone, than any 3 people have, all other professional golfers should get on their knees and kiss his butt, that includes the Senior Tour players who can make more in 1 season on a sub-par tour than they did their entire career thanks to one Mr. Woods.

Fuzzy put himself in that position with his idiotic remarks, it was not Tiger's job to rescue him.

Tiger didn't have to rescue him, he just could have defused the situation and taken the high road. (his first sign of no class) Theres a tradition with golf and one wasn't and shouldn't be having meltdowns in full view of everyone and throwing clubs. Like I said before that would have never been accepted in the Palmer or Nicholas era.. Tiger has made golf all about Tiger, not all his fault but he takes the Lions share of it.

I think Tiger took the high road by not commenting on what a racist idiot Fuzzy is, or appeared to be with that stupid, stupid, remark.  He is damned if he does, damned if he doesn't.  You seem to want to dislike Tiger, which is fine, but don't blame him for Zoellers stupidity, all Tiger did was win a golf tournament.  In my opinion he should have called Fuzzy out on his comments and made it worse for him.  Talk about no-class that should be your example. He is a class act and his legacy will be more than golf, it will be about helping people, and children.  He probably spends more money each year than most other golfers make towards Charity.  So he has shown some emotion here and there, in case you haven't noticed he is intense, his game face is something Dave Stewart would envy.  I personally can't wait until he gets back, like it or not, without Tiger golf loses much of its luster.

I think Fuzzy got what he deserved and both he and Tiger came away from it having learned something. Tiger has gone though plenty of growth in the tour and the gossip section exists because it is Tiger. Sorry but I know for a fact (because I have heard them both admit it) that neither Jack or Arnie would want their careers or lives to have had so much constant exposure. That doesnt mean they have things to hide (they might not be proud of) it just means Tiger is almost over-exposed because of the demands of fans on media and everything Tiger.

Until someone hits the same hole three days running with an ace Palmer will always be the man. Some records are impossible to break like that but I think all of the attainable records will be Tigers.
