Remembering.

How about AH remembering where you put the window that pops up when you stop filming? Very annoying to have it pop up in the middle of your screen during a fight.

I agree but why would you turn it off during a fight? Isnt the goal to record them?

Sometimes I only want certain parts of the fight, so I shut off the film. Saves time later when viewing them. Should be a relatively simple matter to have the game remember where you put the window.

Simple? Eh...
It would involve one of two things...
Option 1) Take up server memory size for however many players use the filmviewer to create a cookie in the server... OR...
Option 2) Make a cookie in your C:\Program%20Files\HTC\ that takes the (x, y) coordinates any time it's moved, taking up memory space, and possibly a second or two of lag as the file is downloaded, and if your firewall doesn't allow DL from HTC... then a disco...

So, it'd be convenient, yes, but, I don't think it's an immediate necessity, HT's workin hard at the urgent ideas imo, but in the future, yes.  :aok
Sometimes, we just need to remember what the rules of life really are: You only
need two tools: WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the
WD-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

I'm not trying to be an bellybutton here, just objective:

1) It wouldn't be server side.
2) It would be no more than 1k of information, it wouldn't keep building up, it would simply remember the last position and replace the old data with new.  A LOT of games do it (look at almost any MMORPG for example) and there is no lag when the window is moved.  Nothing would have to be downloaded from HTC ever once the patch was done.

IIRC, the clipboard stays right where you put it, just use that same idea with any pop-ups.
I'm Sector95 in-game! :-D
