I'm one of those people too.  While I can see the "other" side, for me it's not a successful hop if I don't land, and land with some kills.

I don't think there's anything to be lost by examining your stats.  I pay attention to mine.  I don't however pay any attention whatsoever to anyone elses, or compare mine to anyone elses.  I really don't care what my rank is, or what the other guys rank is.  Comparing my stats to anothers is pretty pointless (to me at least).

I also don't concern myself too much with good months or bad months, but look for my longer-term trends.  I'd like my stats to improve, regardless of "rank".  A big one for me is hit%.  I really feel I should be able to hold a 20% in fighter mode, and I'm working on that.  In reality, I generally stall out at about 12-13%, and have never finished a month with 15%, but I will

we all know stats and score truly don't mean nothing, unless you know that persons flying "style".

any one who has flown against me knows I engage the nme hourd no matter what, I am most often outnumbered, I do see the rare 1vs1,in the MAs.
 so you know not one of my killz are Vulches, or gang killz.


I am pretty happy with the results.
