Not sure exactly what you mean.  You are putting the folder with the .wavs in your MISSRES folder, correct?

But yes that was my problem, i didnt put the .wav in my MISSRES, problem was, i must have looked over the .wav and never put it in the correct folder.

Thanks for the help and i apologize for most likely making you do this  and scratch your head.

Are you moving individual .wavs?  If so, no need to.  Drop that entire folder containing the .wavs in your MISSRES folder.  Don't take the .wavs out.

I never put them in my MISRESS in the first place 

I got a new computer and never created that folder again, as when i download AH it doesnt come already in the package.

All figured out now though.

Hi USRanger:
Encountered a wee bit of a problem, in that (1) sounds are dead  in U.S. & Japaneses planes, (2) whilst in flite (in either U.S. or Jap planes), my screen turns
totally black  - - - - system crash!!   

I've Vista OS & domiciled AHII in C:\Games\HTC\Aces High II per HTC's instructions.

Read "Hells Gate" instructions most assiduously & downloaded as follows:
          (a) Ranger Cove.res          into             AHIITerrain
          (b) Hellsgate.mis              into             Offmis
          (c) Sound file (.wav)         into              Missres

The skins on all a/c are fantastic, landscape great!  However am unable to enjoy the game due to problems listed.   Any suggestions as to what causes the
problems?   Solutions?

Make sure you put that entire folder containing the .wavs in the MISSRES folder.  Don't take the individual .wavs out. 

One more thing I just noticed re-reading your post.  The mission is looking for the sounds in C:\Program Files\HTC\Aces HighII\Missres.
Open the .mis file up with Notepad ot another text editor.  You will have to change sounds from looking in Program Files to Games, then resave.  Should take about 5 minutes.  That should get you good to go.

i am having a problem with this mission every time im about to take off the screen goes white.....and yea thats about it.

Make sure the Hellsgate folder containing the .wavs is in your AHII->missres folder.  Is AH on your C: drive?  If not, open the .mis file with notepad, and anywhere you see C:, change it to your drive.  I'd bet the farm it's one of these two things.
