BJ, Even a new commodore won't run it but if you want to try go to the Download page and you will see it on the left hand side.

Good luck!

If you select 1024 textures it looks like the game has them already, but it's fooling you.  It's just upconverting the 512.  You have to download the hires texture package to actually get 1024 textures.

Wow did I misread your post. BJ, I thought you meant on the site. I'm not real sure where on your computer you can find it. This is where I think it is. Go to the c drive, programs, HTC, Aceshigh. Then look for the name Hirestex. Now I could be completely wrong. However if that name is not there I could be right. You should see it below any folders.

Hope I'm helping and not hurting.

PS. I did think my previous reply was kind of funny. Well except for that misread thingy.

some time when they do an up-date the hirez pack needs to be updated as will. Just go to the site, download it, and install it. Start the game, open the video seettings and change the textures to 1024. The game will rebuild the cache file and you should be good to go.

After you have downloaded and installed the newest version of the hi-res pack, It's a good idea to delete the cache folder (C:\program files\HTC\Aces High II\Cache).  Then like "The Fugitive" instructed, open the video settings section of the main AH window and change the textures to 1024 and then the new cache folder will be rebuilt.  It is best to then exit AH and do a defrag of your hard drive.  I hope this helps out some.

All the Best...
