Tankspotting
« on: August 09, 2000, 11:28:00 AM »
Last night, hblair and I drove panzers to A17 to hopefully slow down an offensive (btw it's amazing what 5 minutes and two panzers can do to a field).

Anyways while bombarding the hangars I commented to hblair that it looked like he was shooting long (I thought he was zeroing in on target since I reached the base first).  I  mean, it looked to me like he was way off.  He then mentioned to me that it looked to him like I was shooting long (when in fact I was dead on a hangar).

Which leads to the question:  does spotting for someone else work (or, is it supposed to)?

Or could it be that my connection was slow (this would not be surprising)  so that I would see his shots go long and he would see my shots go long?

Or is it just unreliable to have another player spot for you?

Anyone else try this with same or different results?
