Hi.

Why do i have to ping someone first to get the manuver kill?

If am on the defensive and do for an example an low split-s, and my attacker is to fast to follow and hits the ground, why dont i get credited for this?

I've often wondered the same thing. MK range is 2k I think HT said, but in one sortie I watched 3 bandits auger (farthest was 1.3k) trying to get me. No MKs.
Then a 4th dives in on me and I dinnae pay enough attention to the ground, I see him at 1.7k lookup out the top of the canopy and then I'm in tower, and he's given an MK on me.

I've had enemy crash within 500 yards from me and I've had no maneuver kills or would someone else had got credits of that guy.
Then I've got kills from planes 1.5-2k away.

I think it happens, but not on a consistent basis or pattern.

Last night, I got 3 manuever kills by 2 109's and another fighter that tried to dive on me and augered into the ground behind me.

Other nights, same thing, no kill.

Get rid of the man. kills all together , since there are far more kills awarded for no good reason than ever will be awarded rightfully.

Hm, I got a maneuver kill on a 190 yesterday. Seemed fair to me.

I haven't had many unfair maneuver kills given or taken. Doesn't seem like a huge problem to me.

GIVE ME A BREAK SANTA. I bet if more detailed records were kept you would find that 80% of the man kills are undeserved in this game. Just park a tank in a hanger , go eat dinner , come back with 5 kills. ITS PATHETIC.

I have a film where I get 2 manuver kills in a row on N1ks that dove on my low p47. Unfortunately for them I was 10 inches above the ground with a hill in front of me.

I didn't ping either one of them.

I think the difference is if they shot at you or not.

Skippy, probably true. But I have only gotten deserved maneuver kills in fighters.

In m16's, it's a different matter.

After further evaluation the manuver kills are really porked.

I had enemys hit the ground 2-3 feet from me and no kill avarded. Same goes vice verca when i crash REALLY close to an enemy he dont get credit for killing me.

I was flying over a low furball last night, bout 3000ft above the action. Got a kill. God knows how cos I hadnt even fired a shot yet.
