Connection troubles
« on: January 01, 2009, 01:52:43 AM »
Went down to NC and before it my laptop worked fine. Went down there and all the sudden it wouldn't connect to internet right. Got back home and it was doing the same thing. Ran plenty of Ad aware, anti malware, anti virus crap and it didn't find anything. It's Vista. It says it's connected but with limited or no connectivity. I'm going to have my dad look at it tomorrow but I figured I could get some insight on here too.

when I scroll over the tray icon it also says:
Connection status: unknown
The dependency service or group failed to start.

sounds like a wireless connection. Right click on the tray icon and open the app. Have it search for wireless connections and then pick yours. You may have to disconnect the connection, then re connect to get it to reset itself.
