Well, I just had an idea of a way to add artillary to the game. What if we had the ability to build artillary positions, like with special supplys. And it would take one supply to set up the positioning for the artillary, like the ditches or whatever, the second, third and forth supplys will add the actual artillary guns, and m3s can only carry one of these supplys. Anyway, after you have done all this, you drop troops at the newly artillary positions and then you can man them. They would work just like the 8''s on the CVs, with the auto aim at whatever you click on the map. To access the artillary positions, it will show up in the hanger.

What would be really cool though would be a better grid system for a field, like something you can access from the clipboard. Once you click on this, it will pop up a blank land map, about the size of one full sector we have now, but with more grid on them. Idk, just something to ponder about.

I've always liked the idea of artillery.

Have an M3 tow it and settle it and fire.  8" can fire from  task group onto the town/base, why can't we have artillery?
