Wow!  Outstanding set of photos - have never seen those holes in the clouds like that, very interesting.  Clouds are awesome.

Those elliptic clouds could well be the effect of cloaked alien ships and their antigravity engine..

Wow, the ones that hit me the most would be the wave and the shroom, I don't know what I would do if I ever saw a shroom...  :uhoh

I used to live on donner summit in California and was a lift op sugar bowl for a couple seasons before switching to night time gondola duties. Sitting at the top of Silver Belt I used to watch clouds literally roll in like a wave some afternoons. I had some really cool pics of it, but sadly that computer failed horribly as did the camera. I now live down the hill a bit and I get to see the thunder heads pop up over the summit during the summer. I have seen gigantic mushroom clouds above castle peak and it is truly an awesome sight. So beautiful...yet at times so destructive when the dry lightning strikes hit.

One of the best sites for extremely rare cloud, space, and sky phenomenon is http://spaceweather.com/.

I use it for sunspot & A & K daily readings, but the meteor shower and oddball clouds are highly interesting.  They are even tracking the tool bag that was dropped by the ISS astronauts!
