Thanks Scotch !
« on: January 15, 2009, 08:39:50 PM »
Flew with Scotch for a bit tonight and had a great time winging up with him.

This is the first time since I have been back that I have had a chance to wing up with someone.  forgot how much fun it is to fly tactical but, still loose enough to make it dangerous :)

I have known scotch over the years and he has always been a class act. from  all the way back in the Mac Aw days (before he was named after darned a fine drink)  :D .
you are still as fun as ever and a fine pilot. (thinking of changing my call sign to Crown Royal...... Nahhhhh ! )

Thanks for taking the old Rab under yer wing and helping him to remember a few things.  I look forward to flying with ya again. :devil

If you really want a fun time and some really good laughs at the same time, just wing with the Muppets and tune to their channel.  SkyRock does a really good impersonation of the Karl Childers character from Sling Blade that is really funny to hear.

I'll use this name for old times sake :)

I don't think I could even legally drink the last time we flew together.  heh Good to see you up though.
If you see any Muppets on, wing up. Next time we'll be more aggressive with the horde. Challenge you a little more  :devil

Yeah we sorta eased  up on them tonight but, we were succesful.

I got a lot of assists but, to me kills are shared with a wingie no matter which one lands them.

I noticed that things have really changed since I left.

I took monday off and flew most of the day into the evening....  everyone fought over the same base all day.  someone would pork the base and then the hoard would come over and try to vultch and cherry pick. was pretty funny to watch but it got really quite borring to me .  No one would take the base and our side would not even counter strike.  prolly over 100 people all together between the two sides.  but, there were other buffs in other areas hitting bases un-opposed.

Really no strategy to mention just furballs and milk runs.  I remember that we used to base hop and fight our way accross the map  until we would force a reset.
it was fun winning the war and getting a new map.  felt like we did something or if we lost we would be more determined to win the next reset.
Most if the milk run  attempts would be detected and people would scramble to get up and defend against the bomber mission... that is why many of the Buff runs were escorted with  a fighter squadron.

So far I feel like the maps are too large and having a effect on game play.  Heck could be wrong but, this is sort of what I have observed so far.  What do I know... I am still finding ways to have fun :) Just would hate to see the game be re named Base Pork or Furball Low GV Killer(I do sorta like Wack a Mole)  :devil .  what is with the squeaky voices I hear on the radio ?

LOL ok enough for me I dont wanna get beat up on the boards too soon  :D

Ill Cya up Scotch.
