This guy needs to look at the speed chart for the 38 and compare it to the speed chart for a spit xvl

in the hanger select desired aircraft
left click and select speed chart...shows how fast a given plane will go at specific alt...the 38 does a bit better than 325 at sea level and 400 at 25k. The spit does about 315 at sea level and 390 at 25k
