Help with .join comman

Is there a way to disable this comand?

I was in a GV defending myself from them damm flying contraptions and a newbee kept trying to .join my GV.  First I am willing to help when the time is right, but having a join request pop up in front of the gun sight is very annoying (he/she did it atleast 20 times).  Newbees TAKE FU$KING NOTE: we are not all just sitting around to waiting to answer your questions. If you get a ".join" declined it may not be personal we just may be busy.

Type .showjoin into the radio buffer and the join message will then be displayed in the message bar rather than the window.

Note that you need to do this each time you log in, it is not a saveable(sp?) setting.
