I like people flying the F4u-1C.  It keeps them out of planes that really give me problems.

I was saying that the Seafire could serve as the carrier borne Ostwind killer if the F4U-1C were perked.  It has 2 Hispanos after all.

Essentially I'm saying that perking the F4U-1C would not force carrier pilots to use 50 cals against tanks.  The Seafire ensures that there would be a non-perk carrier fighter that can kill tanks and Ostis.  Thus the argument that the F4U-1C is needed to give carriers a tank busting aircraft is disproved.

As the situation is now, there is no reason to use the Seafire in preference to the F4U-1C.

You can easily catch a C-Hog if he makes just 1 turn, since it easily out-accelerates the hog.

HO'ing? Not sure, I try to avoid them and go for the position rather than HO, but the times I've gambled I've lost, but I lose 90% of HO's because, frankly, I suck at HO's.

Strafed FH's, BH's and Vh's with N1K guns with great success, although it takes a wee more ammo than the C-hog.

And instead of 1 pass for a tank, like the Chog requires to kill a tank, it takes me 2.

You may have done 'em, but it wasn't easier than with the Chog    I've done all of the last 3 myself.  Not the first one tho', and since you responded in the positive, next time I see you online, you're taking me into the training arena and showing me how to kill them friggin' tanks with the Niki's guns.  That's something I've never been able to accomplish (i generally attack from a low angle at thier 6...is this a mistake?)
