Remember they didn't use enough. The whale wasn't converted into seagull chow, as was the plan.
Yeah but the genius was in the sheer attempt. To become an instant legend like that, with chunks of whale guts splattering all over your audience and wrecking an auto? I thought I knew and worked with some legends but none of them ever blew up a whale.
Priceless. That is priceless. Only a public employee could dream one like that up.

Up here we tow them. If not possible plan B is either burial or leave them to rot.
And they stink!

It was very interesting to carry out the flight trials at Rechlin with the Spitfire and the Hurricane. Both types are very simple to fly compared to our aircraft, and childishly easy to take-off and land. (Werner Mölders)

Its being, "gone is seconds" was being determined on if it left its point of origin within a predetermined amount of time... At least I think so. *Giggles*

... missions were to be met by the commitment of alerted swarms of fighters, composed of Me 109's and Fw 190's, that were strategically based to protect industrial installations. The inferior capabilities of these fighters against the Mosquitoes made this a hopeless and uneconomical effort. 1.JD KTB
