I don't know, but there have been numerous times where I should have ended up as part of the landscape...

Quote
Pyro 2.07 Release notes

Made several changes to the flight model affecting static thrust, propeller slipstream effects,
ground effect, flaps and slats.  This affects all planes to one degree or another.  Due to this change, the
table that controls combat trim had to be redone for all planes.

It may or may not be modeled. It isn't that big of a deal in any case. It only affects an aircraft within one wing span of the ground and the way most people land in game ground effect is not ever going to be in play, anyway.

I do know the friction modeling for a gear up landing is incredibly silly. I've slid all the way down a 5000 runway on the back of a P38 like a bulldozer was pushing the wreckage. Metal sliding on concrete = short landing distance.

its modeled, it used to be a lot more noticeable, as you slipped in for a landing.
With the current setup its there, but you don't notice it as much as you used to.

That was one of the first things I noticed when I first landed in AHII - I was pleasantly surprised it was modeled, impressed me.  I'd say the FM's are for the most part very well done - however, things get "interesting" in the stall/spin environment if entered from certain attitudes.  Seems quite a few of the airplanes suddenly decide to fly like they have a massively aft CG and they fall tail first.

Something that happens to me rarely in midwar, hardly ever it seems in Late war.
Occasionally in FSO (mostly to rearm) but more often in the TA. Hmmm maybe its a TA thing.
