Rudder Trim for GV's
« on: January 08, 2009, 08:15:45 AM »
OK, I know it wouldn't be rudder trim but it would be nice to be able to use the same keys you use for rudder trim to make small course corrections in GV's.  I'm lazy and hate to have to always reach up for my joystick when my keyboard is much more convenient.

Can you program keys for yaw on, say mode 3 and a key to switch between mode 2 and 3?  just copy mode 2 to 3 but assign a key for your x and y-axissss.

Dunno.  Just a thought.

100% with you on that one. While on top, turning with A/D keys can be 'dramatic' in an M8.
Here we are, living on top of a molten ball of rock, spinning around at a 1,000mph, orbiting a nuclear fireball and whizzing through space at half-a-million miles per hour. Most of us believe in super-beings which for some reason need to be praised for setting this up. This, apparently, is normal.

Stay in the gun or pintle and use the twisty to steer. :)

I haven't tried to slave rudder to the keyboard in GVs because of the above.
Now go away or I shall taunt you a second time
