An easier way to calibrate guns in the hangar

Anyone else frustrated by the way the gun calibration is set up?

Half the time I cant grab the specific gun I want.
Perhaps keyboard commands 1,2,3 etc to select the specific gun you want to change
Or click on that part of the airframe that holds the specific gun.

If there is already an easier way. Im all ears

While I don't consider it a real big deal, I know exactly where you're coming from and it can be frustrating.  Quickest way to do it is if you can't grab on the gun you want just take whatever one is getting in the way and set it all the way out to 650, then adjust the others as needed and pull it back in.

Over the last week I have been reading about the Mustang and Hellcat and Corsair in detail and I was surprised to learn how the guns were set 'officially' and how it changed 'in theater.' In Europe the Mustang was setup with a plywood template that had painted dots on it and the guns were boresighted at 83'4" (1000 inches) for the bore sight window to be filled with the painted dots. Standard range was 300 yards which most of us already know but the guns range was... get ready for this... 7200 yards but it was accepted that even the most skilled gunners could not hit beyond 800 yards in combat (except on non-maneuvering targets). The gun sight and gun camera were aligned in the same way.*

What you say is true.  But I'd rather them make other things easier before this.

I'll occasionally tinker with them on and off depending on how my gunnery has been lately and at what distances I am tending to fire at.
I'll also mess with them when Im in a plane I am unfamiliar with or dont regularly fly to find where the sweet spot is for me. And for me each plane is set differently.

I'll also occasionally experiment with different settings on different types of guns

I've also had them mysteriously reset on their own
The 109F for example I usually have set anywhere between 3-400  and noticed something weird about my round trajectory only to go into the hangar and see them reset to 250. where I never have them set

The whole convergence thing isnt a huge issue for me. But I do find it aggravating when I do mess with it.
And If I can find it aggravating. I know some of the newer players must as well.

Like I said its not a huge issue. But I think one that could stand to be addressed

The 190 A8, during normal business hours I pork with it.  During evening hours I dogfight in it.  The convergence for each of those two is severally different.  And it's a royal pain in the butt. 

Perhaps making it so convergence remembers function!!!  A8 in Fighter is 200 yards  A8 porking is 600 yards. 

That might work for everybody!

I tinker with convergence regularly.  I figure one of these days I will find the ultimate setting!
