The Tempest clearly carried eight rockets as one of the possible loadouts. You have everything else just right, but we are missing those rockets.

tempest did not carry rockets in ww2 it carried them after ww2.

hurricane needs the 8 rockets though as it did carry them in ww2

and they where able to overload the typhoon with 16 rockets as well.........

Everything I have come up with demonstrates that the capability to carry rockets was built into the Tempest. I have not read a ton of paperwork on this fine plane, so tell me, "How do you know they never carried rockets?"

Voss, its a commonly know fact that Tempests did not carry rockets in WW2.
