...

I thought about that too and do have a few I'm submitting like that but IMHO the Spit/P-51 screenshot really captures the spirit of the MA's (plus I think it's a really cool shot).

I've also got some awsome Spit V vs Spit V shots from the DA.

... and let's not forget GV's.
I edit a lot of my posts.  Get used to it.

Historical footage would just be a plus. Submit what you think looks good, and leave it to the judges... I sure would like to see all the entrants. I'll post all the one's I've submitted here after the submission date.  :aok

Gentlemen,

FWIW, and IMHO, I think the best chance of winning
will be a screenshot that features an Axis vs. Allies
matchup (or no combat at all).

While I love the Spit vs. P-51 screenie, I doubt it will win.

Why?  Look at the promotional videos that HiTech
uses to advertise the game.  Both Sanjini's video and
the current one both have something in common.
Anyone notice what that is?

Focus your efforts on getting a WWII combat screenshot
instead of a non-historical one and I think you
will improve your chances of winning.

Not that I know anything.  I'm just looking at
the evidence and drawing some conclusions.

Just a suggestion...

way ahead of ya :t

Nice work!  I like the 3rd one best.

which reminds me. It would be nice if HTC put up a place..or thread where we couold see all the entries. It would be even better if they chose 6 finalists and let us vote for the winner....but nah, guess not.

I do like the second one the best, and the B25 one. The KIs were nice, but the 109 one was absolutley the best.
I like the idea that all unedited Screenshots should go to the screenshot page, for an updated list. There is a way of doing this, HTC should leave this email adress open, screenshots@hitechcreations.com, and like the skin submissions, they will take a look at which one's Should be posted. Keep it updated and looking good.

I think there should be another for videos as well, maybe make another challenge and they get somthing like Sony Vega for winning.

Pyro posted the deadline for entrys is February 8th.....but at what time?

is it midnight 12:00AM 2/8/09. or is it 11:59PM 2/8/09, or whatever?

I am still going through my screenshots and figuring out which ones I want to send in for entry......

I am thinking ( we know what assumptions will get you! ) that it should be 11:59PM 2/8/09 for your particular timezone.....

just to be fair.......

in the rules it is posted that the deadline is February 20th for all entrys must be received.......

Pyro/hitech/Skuzzy/Sudz/Superfly/Carrie   ? could one of you please respond quickly with a absolute to this question please?

I'm having a very difficult time paring mine down to a reasonable number to send in.  I'm guessing if they tried to post all the entries there would be thousands.

BTW TC, I'm sending mine in tonight just to be sure.
