No text buffer/squelch range
« on: January 20, 2009, 12:23:55 AM »
Is there any way to get the text buffer off your screen entirely? If not, I wish for it.

Same goes for squelching range. I can turn voice all the way down, but then I can't hear squad vox if anyones on.
"Crikey, sir. I'm looking forward to today. Up diddly up, down diddly down, whoops, poop, twiddly dee - decent scrap with the fiendish Red Baron - bit of a jolly old crash landing behind enemy lines - capture, torture, escape, and then back home in time for tea and medals."

Consider it part of the "online" experience.

If you don't want to interact with anyone, or communicate, go offline.

I wish to interact when playing...but through bullets, not through words.  :D

I wish to be able to close the text buffer for aesthetic reasons, as for range, it just gets loud and annoying sometimes.

I can still give and recieve check6s without listening to a ten-year-old discuss at length what our "strategy" should be or a grown man describing in exquisite detail what "rutabagas" the opposition are being. :devil
