« on: January 22, 2009, 09:18:40 AM »
Can anyone recommend a driver cleaner utility? The freeware version of Driver Cleaner on uGuru is no longer available.

Thanks!

Guru3d.com recommends Driver Sweeper.  I've used it several times, works good.

On top of that I'd use http://www.ccleaner.com/ as this well help get rid of any left over traces of the driver and remove any registry entries left over as well...

Just make sure to back it up first! (CCleaner gives you that option) One time I didn't and upon removing what CCleaner found it messed up my mother's laptop rather badly.
