Headon shots are frowned upon at merge ,and in general .
ACM = Saddle the dweeb up and prove you can out fly them!!!

Just asking as I've never see this event before.  From the limited description it sounds like there will be a lot of planes meeting for engagements at the same time, willy nilly.  In other words, a full combat situation though slightly restricted with the 2v1 rule.

So I'm curious, how is the 'No HO' rule going to be enforced, if at all?  Or is it?  See the problem? (at least by the instructions given so far)

If you allow any shot from a nose-to-nose aspect, when is it HO, and given lag issues, how can you tell?  Do you expect only nose-to-tail shots to be taken?  If so, then rules should define that.  Given the inevitable lag, how can you consider anyone's complaint to be accurate when they call someone on a HO?

Just wondering.  :aok

Its not a Official event yet . but could be if there's enough interest .

its more of a old school AH1 style get together when we hunted each other out just to try to beat the guy/gal that was better then us.

when you leave out the ho you get a longer better fight and learn alot more then going for the ho/who has best pc/connect/ect wins the lucky shot .

You'll have to try it ...  :aok

You're disabling the 190 and P-51? :P

The 190 is a great dogfighter.

What time is that in UK? About midnight? If so im sure you can count me in!

That would be the wee hours. 6-9pm PST is 2-5am in the real world.

No "4th man in"...let all fights at 1-2 odds alone
{if a red guy has 2 green on him let it go till a green guy dies}

If the red guy dispatches a green guy and the fight is low and slow it would be courteous to allow the 1 on 1 to finish and if the red guy dispatches the 2nd green guy allow the red guy to regain some alt and speed before engaging.

(being this is supposed to be about ACM)
Theyll only give you one chance, Better get it right first time. And the game youre playing

Stickpig ,That wasn't really a problem last time. If it becomes so then I'll adjust the rules .
