Hello all {S}
First I'd like to say that I've thoroughly enjoyed this game from open beta till now, And I feel that way not because it's been perfect, But due to the fact that the folks at HTC began with a work ethic that gave me a quality product for my money; Treated me with respect. Taking time to explain in layman's terms, answers to questions, While addressing problems in a forthright, professional manner, instead of using the "Smoke and Mirror" methods of their competetors who are either dead, or dying as a result. For those things, I remain grateful, and I salute you all!
But there are a couple of things that have been bugging me lately. One of which, may or may not be true, Is the rumor that some folks who came over from AW3 are only paying $10 month, while I pay $15 [$14.95]. I know that some time back, a couple of my squaddies who had just joined AH got an offer of $20 while I continued to pay $30.
While it is my opinion that EVERYONE should pay the same price for the same service, (which in some states is a law), I would think that these sort of special conciderations would go to those loyal fans who'd stuck by the longest, regardless of the cost. But that's only my opinion.
>> Can someone dispell this rumor for me? <<
The other thing I wanted to say, is that I REALLY miss the old strat system!! I realise that you're trying to please the majority, Or at least make the game more enjoyable for everyone, But the MA has allways been the Strat arena, Where bombin' the snot outta bases reduced the amount of resistance encountered before capture. Furballing was done in the CT, and Blowing up towns, and homes was concidered a war crime !!
For what it's worth, I spent almost 3 years in AW3. I got sick and tired of empty promises and 'Fighter town', And when they did away with FR Big Pac, I left. I did WB/DoA, and with the exception of 1 or 2 months, I've been in AH since the open beta days. For those of you who think (as I do), that $30 a month is too much to pay "..For ANY sim..", all I can say is "Ya shoulda been here, then you'd understand!"
Thanks for your time, (Apologies for the novel)
S!
