Iv got three kills in one past before. I was flying around in a 190A8 with 30mms a few years ago and spotted B26s right in the deck. I come in co alt with them from their 3 o' clock and put a 30mm in all three of their V stabs. The drones blew up and the lead flopped over backwards andslamed into the water. I don't think I have the AH film anymore but I did put it in one of those movies I used to make.
That, and wingtips used to be easier and guarantee a kill for each plane.  I used to barrel roll around formations and nail a wingtip with a 30mm + one or two 20mm on each roll.

The one guy that would remember it is NOD from H2H.  He'd asked me to repeat it over and over on his B26s because at first he couldnt believe it wasnt luck, and then so he could practice defending against it. Nowadays it's nowhere near as easy because of (either or) that granularity thing and the AH2 handling/ballistics, and people know how to gun a little better.  Anyway, rad hits in the 152 are just too much of pita. It'll piss me off enough that I'll kill the whole formation, but it also ends the sortie which isn't worth it for just a bunch of fluff.  Much better to find a real dogfight.

And I think I remember wingtips not being a lethal wound anymore, at some point.  I definitely remember being disappointed when I saw bombers manage to stay in the air despite losing a wingtip.. I haven't used that tactic for years now, and I don't think I'd have given up such good tool if it weren't defunct..  gonna have to try it again to be sure.  I must be getting old.

Bull*hit.

moot's 30mm aim is disgustingly accurate, and his TH152 flying is second to none. I'm gunna call true, on instinct.  :rock

I believe Moot with this one too, I can do it with my 38.

In many ways he is better equipped for it, where I need to keep my nose on the bomber to be able to down it in my 38, Moot only needs to drop his nose for a brief moment with the 30mm/20mm match up.

I got 3 B-17's in one pass in a 109-F one time w/o gondolas, cockpit shots on all three. First one exploded, 2nd warped into its spot in the formation, it exploded, 3rd warped into it's spot....I never even had to adjust my aim.  :D

Unfortunately, I was not filming.  :cry

I have gotten twofers in a Tempest before.  But I think the most memorable was a group effort. Two squaddies and myself were in P-51ds flying in a V formation when we came upon a set of lancs.  We dove in while in formation and shot our respective bombers.  All 3 vaporized on that pass.  The poor guy never even fired.

well i have never managed to shoot down an entire formation in one pass......or in multiple passes come to think of it. but if i still had the film i could one up all of ya! how many of you have managed to collide with all three planes in the formation and one of its escorts in one pass?

huh new it! none of ya! you dweebish amateurs!

i burned into a formation of bombers (26's i think) at wing creaking speed and as i approached they turned under me closing my passing distance. as i tried vainly to pull out of the dive,  managing to get my nose just level, i clipped the top of the nose of the closest bomber bounced forward and up i hit the top of the fuselage of the middle bomber (now in a staggered line due to the banking turn the formation was making at the time), losing my wings i then rolled (yes rolling head over azz) down the body and being flung off and right into the tail of the third bomber. the impact of this third hit tore off my tail and bounced what was essentially just a cockpit with a bent prop into the air behind the bombers and directly into the path of a 51, flying escort for the bombers. he had dove in, in an attempt to intercept me when i first began my attack run on the bomber formation. he wound up with what remained of my 190 in his cockpit killing him instantly and blowing up his ride.

i had 4 collide messages and a kill for the 51 pilot.

the bombers i believe were piloted by oldman or old"something", the 51 jockey was a numbers guy. i no longer have the film because of the update in AH2 that wouldnt let me play my older films. i dumped all of my older films because i didnt know there was still a way to play them. it sux cause that film was awesome, funny as sin, definitely worth watching 2 or 3 times.

Not really, it made the F4 fly like a G2. I stopped flying the F4 once they took the gondies off.
