Fill Out Plane Set By Chronology

I request that first, HTC add all the important/relevant/interesting planes* that saw service in 1939.

And when that's all done, add the planes from 1940.

And when that's all done, add the planes from 1941.

And so on, and so on, through 1945.

Its not that I disagree with you in principle, or that I dont think you have as much right as anyone to wish for what you want. But the fact remains we get so few new aircraft in the first place why model ones that nobody will ever fly? Especially since so many we already have need updating as well.

The universe does not revolve around Late War; it isn't the only arena there is.
Early War, Mid War, AvA, Scenarios, FSO...could all benefit from a more complete planeset.

Problem is the perk system is worthless when it comes to being used on a wide scale of aircraft.

More early birds means more meaning when it comes to perking the later war ubber aircraft.

There are other arenas besides the LW arena.  The OP is correct that there are glaring gaps in the EW and MW plane sets, especially the EW plane set that needs to be addressed.  The major factor for the EW being virtually empty is the lack of EW planes.  Plug that gap and you'll see increased interest and players in the EW arena.  These planes would also open up more scenarios that deal with the EW years such as the Battle of France or the Lowlands.

Bugger that will teach me to skim.  I'd still like to see a focus on earlier stuff for a bit. I mean 3gun la7 and 47N are fun and all. But we have enough LW uber AC.

I agree, with adding planes in Chronological order, the  P-36 might be hella fun to fly!

I was one of those, with two kills, in the B variant, and damn proud of it. These are all fun planes to fly in their element (maybe not the SBD so much) but the reason you don't see these planes in the LW so much is that many of those pilots just fly their Spixteens and Franks.
