and the Jets on the forward cats, and lined up down the alley ( been over 20 yrs, I forgot what that alley was called.......I wore a White-checkered Jersey back then).......

Could be from the Korean War then.
Probably Korea, the markings are certainly Post WWII. Note the red stripe in the white bar on the chevrons. Not to mention the US Navy didn't put NAVY in big white letters on the side of it's combat aircraft during WWII.

By the way a squadmate just gave me my new background.  :aok

When your working at 5040x1050 res there's not much images on the net to use for desktops, so you have to fend for yourself.

Squadmate CJ is flying the one that took the pic.

Some of the guys from my house getting stupid for St. Patties day. IM the one standing with the beads.

Another one, taken in July '07 in Eau Claire, WI - B17 Nose.  Doctored a little to enhance shadows and bring out the sky.  Wish I had a better camera at the time, was only a 3MP.
