enemy pt boats dont need icons

they really aren't necessary.

pt boats 80 foot long and has a huge wake behind it. very easy to see.


the range icon however makes it very easy for cv gunners to dial in and pop the poor pt driver.

they really aren't needed since the pt is a ground vehicle.

dont need tags on pt boats even when viewed from an aircraft.

Valid point, there is no way telling which ones are your own PT boats.

So show icons on friendly PT boats and no icons on unfriendly ones

IFF problem solved (ya still gotta get close enough to see the friendly icon too   )

I have no problem with this, however since PTs are mainly used as ackstars, it only be fair if the PT guners had no range info on attacking fighters.

Mak PT boat icons just like vehicle icons.

One is on land, one is on water; other than that I don't see the difference between a PT boat or a tank.

Agree with Fury.  Reduce the range on enemy PT boat icons to 1.5K, just like vehicles.  That will the icon less useful to fleet gunners, since 1.5K is pretty much point blank.  The wake makes the PT visible from the air before the icon anyway.
