If I recall last time I played this game my guns would be locked and did no damage if my connection was bad.
Is there a set number of what your ping rate needs to be to the server?
I am in Iraq now and under perfect conditions the connection is horrible compared to the states.
Minimum ping to anything is 550ms. If I can maintain that will I be able to play? I know I wont have much luck dogfighting but I do enjoy the tank battles...and I can learn to live with 550ms delay as long as the game lets me.
I just ordered a CD to give it a shot, just wondering if anyone knew the max latency value.
