Don't know how good it is for FPS though, most people say Wireless are BAD BAD BAD choices for FPS games.

The only time I miss the old style mouse is when playing a FPS.

I used wireless mice when I played some FPS games competitively for 3 years.  If you buy a high end one, the difference is so minuscule its not even funny.  And if it did cause a .001 response difference of clicking the mouse or something, you're more than likely to blame your death on something else, like lag.  Most of the guys I played with preferred the wireless since you didn't have to worry about the getting their cord caught on something on their desk.

I've since went back to a wired mouse for a different reason.  My old Logitech MX700 wireless used 2 NiMh AA with its charging base.  It made it very easy to replace aged batteries.  I then bought an MX1000 which used a proprietary Li-ion battery.  The Li-ion did last longer on a charge, but after 2 1/2 years it pretty much crapped out and it made trying to find a replacement not fun.  Though Logitech did have a 3 year warranty on the mouse, I could never find the receipt for it.

Currently I'm enjoying the Logitech G9 thoroughly.

You pinpointed my problem exactly, the way the cord is, it gets caught under the corner of my keyboard and I end up not being able to move and shoot.

I have an Mx700 that I could bring up to my gaming comp but I don't know how good it is, My Logitech G7 took a crap on me earlier this week so i'm currently stuck with this factory Dell one. Is the MX700 good enough for FPS gaming? A friend mentioned to me that I should find one with adjustable DPI.
