Outsource gear animations as skins have been to skinners

It'd look cool and would be a single instance QC task.  As it is only the P51 (IIRC) has the proper sequence, as opposed to gears and gear doors moving thru one another.

Even if they aren't outsourced, it would be nice if they were just FIXED. I'm curious about how long would this take, since everything is already there except for proper timing?

Agree.  Was a bit disappointed to see the doors and wheels colliding on the new Typhoon model.  I'll admit that since we spend 99% of the time without an external view it won't bother the individual pilot, but during formation takeoffs immersion will suffer when we witness simplified gear animation on everyone else's aircraft.
