I understand the current prize.  Looks great!  BUT!!!

How about this:  A very good SYSTEM chosen by the AH staff that will run Aces High.
This would NOT include the Monitor, Speakers, etc.  Just the Guts of the computer, necessary software and suggestions what Should be added to make it great!

This should run in about the same price range as the fancy screen.  And it just might keep people who's system is becoming marginal from quiting AH.

Difference is they had Maxtor sponsor this.  So HTC didn't pay for it to give away.  HTC didn't have to margin much, if any, money at all.

Not taking this too serious bud    We have developed a disposable society.  Throw away everything including computers.  It is good that HTC is able to keep low end equipment in the hunt.   I believe that is the point that you were making.    I have tons of systems laying about the house and all of them newer than what I use by a good 5 years.  This Sony machine will take them all on and return from the dead (Blue Screen of Death) in showroom working condition.  All the MACs are temperamental and mostly look pretty, and the new Vista laptops and Linux platforms here all serve their purposes, but give me this old worn shoe of a box and I can put them all through their paces in a competition.

Well from Firedragons post in the General Discussion Forum, I don't have the worst system.   And up till a couple of weeks ago AH was running quite well on my machine.  (So I have other problems with it not the game.)
  I started this post to feel out the community on prizes.  I didn't know that the prize offered was Given to HTC.  Point taken!  (If I could afford to buy a new computer for my self I would!)
