Spitfire damage model?
« on: November 16, 1999, 09:29:00 PM »
Does it have one? I let go on one from approx 400 yds tonite with my 20mm cannon, saw at least 5-6 impacts(planform shot) and nothing happened except for him to out-turn me and shoot me down. Whats up with that? I also saw other comments along the same lines in the text buffer. It seems to be able to take a lot more punishment than any other A/C I`ve shot at.

It should be the weakest plane, along with the Me 109.

What we need is structural damage weakening the airframe, so after those hits, the Spifire pulls it's usual high-g turn and... falls to pieces due to structural failures.

Couldn't Agree more Funked.

Spitfire should be one of the weakest planes, and it is one of the toughest.
