I thought it was  a Mk I, but the program identifies it as The Fighter Factory's Hurricane Mk II-B, RCAF 5667.

Indeed, 12x .303mgs; generally used as a strafer.

Just wondering - what would hit harder, 6 x.50's, or 12 x .303's?

Well... the rate of fire and ballistics of those .303's are pretty awesome.  But if I were to use my experience from in-game, I'd say probably about the same if not just a little more damage per second.

However this is based up on what I've experienced. :)
