It's a ruthless environment, you need thick skin to survive out there.  :)

Its the best part of the game.  Without having anything to lose, it would be supremely boring.  Given the myriad different ways to make a living plus the ever-present threat of getting whacked--IMO, means a great game.

I agree 100% Stoney.

Have played EvE since feb 2003 (beta) and it is the people and ever changing and expanding environment that has kept my interest.

Dahaha, I'm an E-Uni carebear at the moment. It's still hilarious to see the mercenary corp that wardec'd hiding like scared little girls because we raeped one of their battleships on the first day of the war. (Killboard Listing)

One whole battleship? :)

Wait until you come out with the big boys in 0.0 and eat your first doomsday in the middle of a 1500 battleship fight.. for the second or third time that day. :)

and every player in Eve should have a rifter bpo handy. It is the true ship of lemmings in any crisis  :rock

The point is that they expected a bunch of kids in a swarm of Navitas and maybe Tristan and got raeped.

Guy deserved to die with that many stabs on a "PvP" ship.

A One word warning for 0.0 and 0.0 gate campers/pies.

We Have Bombs, Lots and Lots of Bombs.

First bomb takes out any and all ships cruiser class and smaller, 2nd take out anything battleship and smaller (and pods from the first bomb wave) 3rd will take out anything left over, best if you send small fleet's of 2 cloaked covert op's to attack in groups, each squeezing off 1-2 bombs before retreating. If you want to make sure no one go's anywhere or uses anything, use a void bomb or two, great to zap the cap of anything it hits, cant run.. cant shoot, cant activate any reps.. cant activate any hardeners.

Oh how the jaw's hang low.

Bombs are useless, very easy to avoid and too expensive.

That was his attemped "Anti-EUni" setup since we always rely on tacklers. Since we run in packs of 50 with at least 20 tacklers, this was a retarded choice. :lol

Sadly, I wasn't there. And you have to remember that a good sum of those people barely know how to activate weapons most the time. :)

Simple frigate fights are the most fun because of the speed and absolutely necessary teamwork, you lose virtually nothing if the ship is destroyed. Using a jump clone you don't have to lose any implants either. It's all depending on what level you're playing the game though, in the 6 years I've played (of which ~3 inactive) I've accumulated more than 50 billion into my personal wallet. Most all of that is tied to assets though and not liquid cash.

It's sad how carriers have become the new standard ship for PvP ops in 0.0 space. T1 is pretty much obsolete as well. Game mechanics to make standard T1 ships and tech practical and competitive is still lacking. Besides, there still is no mechanism implemented to drain the economy of isk, making inflation of the economy a reality, which is why we see so many capital ships these days.
