Power Turret sounds and GV turret sounds
« on: February 05, 2009, 06:38:04 PM »
When in an electric turret I would very much enjoy hearing the motors that turn the turret (and traverse the guns, when applicable).  This added sound would increase my virtual immersion in the game.

When in a hand cranked, or motor powered GV turret, having equivalent sounds would be add to the immersion and be much appreciated.

It is a wish I would put on the list.

Indeed. Just a sound when turning the turret would be nice. That mechanical whine..."werrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr"
Maybe for 5" guns also?

o yes definitely, for example when on the 40mm guns on CV cruiser or destroyer there is a somewhat high pitched squeaky rubbing together of metal sound(like a metal water facet turning)

Not only do we need sounds for turrets but we also could use bomb bay door sounds too.
