Quote
Publicist Max Clifford has taken over dealing with Alfie Patten's media relations since baby Maisie was born to girlfriend Chantelle Steadman, 15.

Clifford told Sky News Online: "There will be a DNA test, I think so."

The family has dominated headlines since the news first emerged at the end of last week.

But over the weekend, more young teenage boys came forward, claiming they could be baby Maisie's father.

Alfie, from East Sussex, has already pledged to be a "good dad... and care for it". The claims he might not be Maisie's biological father seem to have made the teenager more determined to prove his case.

He told The Sun that if he has a DNA test, it will confirm what he already knows and then the other boys "can all shut up".

And Chantelle has insisted to The Sun: "There has been no one else."

She told the newspaper she loves Alfie and has never slept with another boy.

Alfie, a young-looking 13-year-old, is not facing any charges over his underaged sexual relationship with Chantelle. Instead, police and social workers have said they will support the family as it grows.

Children's Secretary Ed Balls told Sky News on Friday the situation involving the two teenagers was "awful".

Why on earth does this beastly chick have 3 boys claiming to be the father of her child?

I know it's England and all but there has to be better looking girls in the neighborhood.  ;)

Obviously not in the same room. ;)
Sometimes, we just need to remember what the rules of life really are: You only
need two tools: WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the
WD-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

Another one has stepped forth and claims to be the father. There are more possibles.

Call me crazy, but if I got a girl pregnant, I would be fighting like HELL to make people think it WASN'T mine so I didn't get hit with child support, dependency, and all of those other future-ruining side effects of a nine-month-timebomb...

A constant human struggle; self preservation or honor?

I have both personal and anecdotal experience of "doing it" right around the corner from parents. The latter with the door wide open and near line-of-sight (I'm not THAT stupid. See to the left...). The parents may have been right down the hall in this case; you never know.

Self-preservation at this point.

Have to agree. I have been walked in on by both my parents and hers, and somehow didn't get caught. (I'm still not sure if her Dad is just gullible/trusts me, or just figured it would be easier to pretend he was clueless...). BUT of course, that begs the question, why were the kids allowed to be alone like that to begin with? And why were they not raised to know better? I'm not saying kids should grow up to fear sex, but for christ's sake, use SOME form of protection! Hell, that stupid saran wrap idea is better than nothing!
